Introducing GlobalTrade.net, the First Community Resource for International Trade
GlobalTrade.net is run by FITA Online, with the support of the Federation of International Trade Associations, together with the U.S. Commercial Service, ThomasNet, Alibaba and Kompass.
GlobalTrade.net is:
A Knowledge Resource, where international trade professionals can find experts' analysis, market surveys, tips, white papers, country profiles, experts views, webinars, newsflows, video tutorials, etc. It is organized by "folders" about specific issues. You can reach the folders navigating through the "miniportals".
A cross-border Database of International Trade Service Providers where international trade professionals can select experts such as international marketing consultants, trade finance companies, banks, freight forwarders, quality control firms, lawyers, accountants, customs brokers, instructors, insurance providers for their international operations.
Now Welcoming International Trade Experts
GlobalTrade.net is being "privately launched" from January to August 2010. During the private launch period we invite organizations, associations, service providers, experts, academics, researchers in international trade to create a profile and post informative content related to their expertise. They will be listed for free in our cross-border International Trade Service Providers Database and will be visible in the folders of the Knowledge Resource where they have posted content.
Our partners such as the U.S. Commercial Service, ThomasNet and others will also populate the website with their international trade related content.
Contributors and listed service providers will gain international recognition and potentially find business opportunities for themselves and their companies or institutions as soon as the website opens publicly in September 2010. Check out the benefits of participating GlobalTrade.net.
Site launch in September 2010
The website will be publicly launched in September 2010 and its content featured on Google and on the search result pages of major international trade websites such as Alibaba.com, Thomasnet.com, Kompass.com and more to come. Contributors' content posted and service providers' profiles on the site will have huge visibility in the international trade community, as these sites put together get more than 30 million visits per month.
