<span 12px;="" border-collapse:="" collapse;="" color:="" #111111;="" line-height:="" 19px;="" -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing:="" 1px;="" -webkit-border-vertical-spacing:="" 1px;"="">Andrei Levchenko is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan, where he has taught since 2008, and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Before coming to Michigan, he was an Economist in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund and Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. Prof. Levchenko’s research focuses on the interactions between globalization, economic development, and macroeconomics.
