A certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required for travelers over one year old arriving in Australia within the 6 days following a stay of at least one day and one night in a contaminated country. Safety Conditions

The streets are safe, even at night. Tourists are sometimes targeted by thieves, especially in big cities. Keep a close eye on your personal belongings on public transport and in some public places.
Terrorist Risk
Low. Nevertheless, police presence is particularly noticeable in airports, railway stations, metro stations, outside embassies, schools, government establishments, etc. Identity checks are rare, but surveillance in the country has been very active since it discovered terrorism in September 2001 and at the time of the attacks in Bali.

Not very high. Nevertheless, the country sometimes has serious flooding and huge forest fires near urban areas.
