Taxes and Restrictions On Persons When Going Through Customs

None
Tobacco
From an EU countryt: 800 cigarettes or 400 cigarillos or 200 cigars or 1kg of tobacco.
From outside the EU (excluding Greenland): 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco.

Alcohol
Non-Danish residents arriving from a EU country: 10l of spirits or 20l of fortified wine (maximum 22 per cent), 90l of table wine and 110l of beer.

Residents of non-EU countries entering from outside the EU:1l of spirits or 2l of sparkling fortified wine (maximum 22 per cent) 2l of table wine and up to DKK 1350 of beer.

Perfume
Non Danish residents arriving from a EU country are allowed to import as much perfume as they want.

Residents of non-EU countries entering from outside the EU: 50g of perfume and 250ml of eau de toilette.

Foreign Currency
When entering or leaving Denmark, you must always inform the tax authorities if you are carrying a total amount corresponding to EUR 10000 or more.
Obligatory Declaration of Foreign Currency
An amount corresponding to € 10000.
Local Currency
An amount corresponding to 75000 DKK
Obligatory Declaration of Local Currency
An amount corresponding to 75000 DKK
