The Hong Kong SAR Government has pledged to make Environmental Technologies one of its new six pillars on which to help build Hong Kong’s economy.

Another project is the HK$4 billion ?Integrated Waste Management facility? due to begin in 2011, including core technologies for bulk waste treatment, e.g. incineration, co- combustion, gasificaion and anaerobic digestion.
