On September 12, 2012, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) extended the time period for comments on the draft manuals for food testing methodologies.

General Information: Introduction: On September 12, 2012, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) extended the time period for comments on the draft manuals for food testing methodologies. The “FSSAI Manuals of Method of food testing”, for various food categories approved by scientific committee, were published on August 27, 2012 (See GAIN IN2110). This comment period will end on October 10, 2012. The relevant notice is available on FSSAI’s website and can be directly accessed at: FSSAI Notice.
