FSSAI guidelines regarding date of manufacture and batch

On March 23, 2012, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published ?Ad-hoc
instructions related to imported food clearance process by FSSAI?s Authorized Officers regarding the
date of manufacture and batch number?. The commencement period of the instructions have been
extended from March 3, 2012 for another three months or till further orders, whichever is earlier. This
is in continuation to the Ad-hoc instructions issued by FSSAI on January 5, 2012.
