A Hot Tip about Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in Mexico

For MY 2009/10, Mexican Hass avocado production is forecast to reach a record 1.18 million metric tons (MMT), which is 5.6 percent higher than production in MY 2008/09. Sources indicate production will increase due to a high alternate-bearing cycle, favorable weather conditions throughout the year and the continued implementation of phytosanitary programs to control pests.
