General Information: July saw frequent and very heavy rains which interfered with early harvest of grains and rapeseed crops. Heavy rains combined with high winds caused extensive lodging among crops. Many parts of the country experienced field flooding. Second half of August brought warm, sunny weather creating generally good conditions for field work enabling farmers to finish harvest by the end of the month.
