Section II. Purpose of Specific Export Certificate(s) Domestic dogs, cats and ferrets Dogs, cats and ferrets have to have a microchip or tattoo, and a rabies vaccination (earliest 30 days after vaccination, until vaccination is valid). - Youngsters under 3 months of age may travel without a rabies vaccination (individual permit required). - The certificate is valid for 4 months after signature by the official veterinarian or endorsement by the competent authority, or until the date of expiry of the vaccination, whichever is earlier. - http://www.svssr.sk/dokumenty/zvierata/cer_04-SVPS-505.pdf Pigeons intended for temporary import - The certificate is for veterinary purposes only and must accompany the consignment until it reaches the border inspection post. - This certificate is valid for 10 days from the date of loading. In case of ship transport, the validity of this certificate is prolonged for the period of the duration of voyage. - http://www.svssr.sk/dokumenty/zvierata/cer_04_SVPS_503.pdf Vivarium animals - The certificate is for veterinary purposes only and must accompany the consignment until it reaches the border inspection post. - This certificate is valid for 10 days from the date of loading. It covers dog semen transported in the same railway wagon, lorry or car, aircraft or ship and consigned to the same destination. It must be completed within 3 days prior to the date of loading and all time limits referred to expiration that date. - This certificate is valid for 10 days.
